We couldn’t make analytics faster, so we designed a better loading GIF

We’ve been working on making analytics faster on platforms that Commutatus manages. We gave up and designed a better loading GIF instead.

I strongly believe that a good GIF can get you a few more seconds of patience from users, especially when the alternatives include re-thinking infrastructure from the ground up or increasing the server budget.

We decided to draw inspiration from Tiger, our office cat, who spends most of his time waiting for attention or food. So in some sense, he’s an expert at being patient.

Saumya Nigam designed a wonderful GIF that is now deployed across all AIESEC analytics and is hopefully Tiger’s cuteness keeps our GenZ users occupied while we slowly load their data!
